| Intro: | I live in Ladysmith, on Vancouver Island — a great place for outdoor photography. One of the great things about Trek Lens is the feedback I get from other photographers. In particular, photographs to which I attach little value are sometimes very popular, whilst the ones I adore (as a mother loves an ugly baby) are sometimes ignored. Tough love on this site! My philosophy is Taoist, "let the images come to the camera" rather than forcing a composition. Thus, I enter the world with a mind aware of everything composing as I pass. Interested in becoming a "shutter for hire" that involves science, travel, hiking, or scuba diving assignments. 2008: I'm going to spend more time on Trek Lens talking about techniques and black-and-white images. | |
