 Dodge + Curves | himajyothi
(2709) [2005-08-10 13:21:19] | Hi Eugene... Its very easy... what I did was -
1) Used the 'Dodge tool' at a value of '3' and ran it over the eyes to make them visible. Then applied it on the hair to bring out the color.
2) Used 'Curves' to decrease the darkness.
Thats it! :)
Hope U like it :)

 Crop, B+W conversion | KiwiRob
(550) [2005-07-12 06:04:47] | Hi I hope you don't mind, I thought cropping the image and converting it to B+W would give the photo more of a street feel, I also think removing the guy in the background enhances the image, makes it more about the girl.
Cheers

 Original - colour version | e_g
(1127) [2005-04-19 04:03:56] | | Sometimes it is difficult to decide between colour and b&w versions. This is the case with this picture. In a sense, this two versions are two different pictures. Which one do you like more? |

 b&w | e_g
(1127) [2005-03-05 09:46:55] | | Being disatisfied with the 'original', I post b&w version. It's simplier in technique but seems to be better in quality. |

 crop and (de)saturation | joker
(889) [2005-03-02 06:35:57] [1] | | First I recomposed the picture to move the girl off centre. Then I cloned out some disturbing reflections, selected the beret and copied it to the new layer. Desaturated the background 20%, increased beret layer saturation 15%. Merged, sharpened the brooch, added frame. |

(1127) [2005-02-15 15:32:13] | | I can't decide between these two version. What is more important - colour or composition? This is a question. Please let me know what you thinks. |
