Ok here is my version:
The steps where:

1. Levels to adjust white balance (by moving the middle slider for each of the individual RGB channels)
2. Curves to add a little more contrast, by adding a "s" shaped curve. You only need to deviate very little from a straight line.
3. Sturation, I added a little red.
4. Finally USM to sharpen. USM has 3 parameters: amount radius threshold. There are two settings to sharpen, either high amount and low radius or low amount and high radius. I normally go with high amount and low radius, here is how I set it. First put amount to maximum and then increase radius from 0.1 to 0.2 to 0.3 to .... untill you notice that the image makes a big jump and looks weird. (this can be at 0.3, but sometimes it can be at 1.0. Then just decrease the amount untill it looks good.
