Janos, I tried to play with blending of layers here, and used Ambient filter. Also changed proportion a little, and added black frame. Hope you will like this WS :)

I used the clone tool in photoshop CS2 to remove the sign and wire fence. A bit of a rushed job but I think it produces an image which allows us to concentrate on the wonderful autumn colours without the distractions.
I have reduced yellows and reds by 20 and 5% respectively. I have increased luminance and contrast by 5%. These changes were made with HP Image Zone. I used Neat Image to reduce noise. Settings were on 15% noise in the luminance and chrominance channels. Sharpness setting was at 15%.
l'idée du cadre très large me plaisait vraiment;
toutefois...
j'ai repris la même photo, que j'ai agrandie, un peu dessaturée un peu éclairée aussi, puis j'ai recollé l'image. après diverses hésitations j'ai décentrée l'image en la plaçant dans la continuité des deux feuilles d'iris; après j'ai aussi rajouté des cadres avec la fonction filtre qui permet de garder dessous l'image d'origine.
je trouve que globallement c'est plus doux que ton cadre qui était un peu trop flashy pour moi; j'espère que cela te va et ne dénature pas trop l'esprit dans lequel tu avait composé cet encadrement.
