Intro: Hello! I am a high school photography and journalism teacher in very southern California (Mexico is visible from our parking lot.) Having been an avid photographer for 30 years, I began to lose interest because of my daily teaching grind, darkroom mess, increasing loss of vision, and a small house rapidly filling up with old photographs. I began to limit myself to just travel photos. Digital photography, now that it can match film capabilities, has opened up a new world for me. Now I can clutter up a hard drive, too! Fortunately, I kept my Canon EOS lenses, but sold all my old Leica equipment, and most of my old Nikon stuff. I kept my Micro-Nikkor, which works great on both my Nikon D40 body and on my EOS 10d with an adapter.
