Crop: in order to concentrate even more on the hopelessness of the situation (bikes everywhere - even "beyond" the horizon).
Contrast: enhanced, in order to boost the visual rhythm.
Just my personal opinion, of course. Feel free to disagree ;o).

As explained in my crit, I find the highlights a bit too bright, especially on the ground.

In Cs3, I used the shadows/highlights tool: S 0, H +35. Basically, this dims all highlights whilst leaving the darker areas of the shot unaltered.

Applied a little of noise reduction and two times USM.

First USM with strength 10 and radius 40 to add contrast. And finally USM with strength 100 and radius 0.3 to make it look sharper.

Neat Image to apply a noise reduction of 25% more and you will loose much too much details.
Framed in PhotoFiltre and used clonestamp to create an elbow.
