I felt that a vertical format would work better in this photo, accentuating the height of the trees "reaching" into the sky, so cropped out most of the image, leaving the tree just left of center. I kept the subject at the left (rule of thirds), and allowed the shape of the tree to "flow" downward from the upper left to lower right. Also boosted saturation to 15%.

I just used the basics here. Sharpened, some more contrast, a little bit of more colour saturation. I removed the original frame and added the new simple one (I liked the original one but: a complex frame can be hard to compress for jpeg and because of the 200 kb limit it is possible that you have to increase jpeg compression demaging the main subject image quality). Regards, Alberto.

Used Photoshop CS2 to increase highlights and alter shadows. Desaturated the blue a little and increased brightness and contrast by 2 stops. Hope this is acceptable.

With Photoshop 8.0
1) dark tones -50% 2) Ligth tones unchanged
2) Auto colors
3) Auto contrasts
4) Auto levels
With Neat Image ( filtered and sharpened ).

I did not remove and reworked your frame, So it does look brighter. You can req-worked it more easily.

Perhaps I would move your signature a little bit to the left to fit under the photo, wihout exceeding it.

Congratulations, Great shot and cute model!

Cheers!
Robert

First I straightened the horizon by half a degree, then cropped away most of the sky and foreground. I wanted the sea to get the most emphasis and didn't feel that the sky added anything to the image. With the Shadow/Highlight adjustment tool in PS CS, I increased detail I brightened up the photo overall, plus I used the dodge tool at 20% to paint over some of the highlights. Sharpened slightly.
