 A few things... | rychousmama
(228) [2007-02-04 16:46:13] [3] | I first cropped the image to not let the horizontal lines of light and the truck at the right get lost in too much negative space. Thus, it also emphasizes the movement of the cars on the left. The photo also didn't need a frame. I also applied NeatImage to reduce the noise in the photo (understandable due to the low lighting). I then reduced the brightness a tad and increased the contrast a little bit to give the photo more power. Then I cloned out the spots of blue snow emerging from behind the windshield wipers at the bottom left corner since they were a little distracting. Hope you like it!

Daylight View of I-40 | jramos
(389) [2007-02-04 15:42:09] | | This is the daytime view of I-40 after the snow plows cleared out a path for vehicles to continue on their way during the 2006 southwest winter storm. This photo was taken somewhere near Moriarty, New Mexico. |

(334) [2006-03-03 00:46:13] | Based from my note, I found time to do a PP on your shot.
-Selectively chose the red colors using the magnetic lasso and created a seperate layer.
-The BG adjusted saturation until black and white.
-Adjusted the BG's contrast, levels, and oversharpened because the original picture is already pixelized. This gave a rustic B&W effect.
-For the selected layers of bronze, adjusted color more to the red channels and the levels slider for a darker feel.
-Oversharpened a bit.
-I didn't touch your frame because it works well with the photo.
Saved and took my lunch. Let me know what you think...

 Different Crop | okcTdawg
(289) [2006-01-31 20:01:59] [1] | Cropped off quite a bit from the left side and from the bottom. Got the cholla and the horizon away from the center of the picture. Made a little color adjustment of the sky too.
Hope you don't think I messed up your sunset too badly.

 color saturation | jramos
(389) [2005-12-20 23:12:38] | | I decided to saturate the colors however, although I like the results, I still like cold and empty feeling of the original. |
