I am thinking the bright yellow frame is too distracting from the subject matter. I have cropped a bit to allow the owl to fall into the rule of thirds for optimal composition dynamics.
Resized, sharpen frame.

Seeing the effectiveness of a frame is is not always so easy in PP. As soon as it uploads,on the different background, it is either yeah or nay.
So, here is the new and improved version--with the white frame. |
