Since I couldn't go back and re-shoot at a lower angle, I cropped the upper trees out while leaving a hint of the trail in the background. I also increased the contrast. Is this more what you had in mind?

I just took away the distractive poles (^_^).

In order to be more accurate, I enlarged your photo to 3800 pixels. Then I sampled bits and pieces around the poles , and painted over them with a radius of 10 pixels.

Once corrections made, just resized to TL size.

I admit here i had absolutely no goal exept to invert the reflection I told myself as i turn it... Nah... It will not play a good sky, so why not play a little abstraction...

It's a choice...
I had fun to select the zone and mixt many effect... Of tones, add clouds filter, a flood effect and a little twirl... Inverse the selection and contrast the reflection...

After looking at the other two photos I posted, I don't really like either one, or maybe they're just not quite what I wanted? I wanted a more dreamlike version which I think I've finally gotten close to here. Some of the same steps as previously but not so much of the clarify tool, a soft frame and soft focus touch. I think I'm done playing with this rose now!
