(31107) [2008-09-10 06:22:40] [1] | | Hi Phil, here is what I meant, I cropped the left and the right, then I enlarged the canvas slightly on the top, because I thought it was a shame that the left lantern was edgy, I then 'filled' it in. I resized it to the original 800, that was all I did. Hope you like it, M, (*_*) |

(31107) [2007-08-19 07:26:19] | | I think this was a more recent acquirement of which he was very proud, the bass clarinet. The sound of it is still beautifully vibrating in my bones, deep and rich. An unusual instrument that he uses on his latest CD, stories and songs all about the GREAT WAR... people who survived it and that he used to know and listen to... I can recommend it, but it IS IN FLEMISH, thanx, M, (*_*) |

(31107) [2007-07-11 07:57:51] [1] | | Hi Giorgio, I only adjusted the levels in this beauty, don't forget, a good b&w image must always have a true black and a true white, and then.... there are ALL the grey tones in between. Hope you like it? Thanx, M, (*_*) |

(31107) [2007-07-11 06:29:13] [2] [+] | It might now be a bit 'over' but that is only to show you. The first thing I saw was that your levels of contrast were 'out'! So, I corrected that.
Your lighting is flat, you don't 'paint' with your light.
After the levels/contrast correction, it showed up all the 'dirt', speckles, everything needs to be spotless at ALL times! I removed the most visible and disturbing, but it is a timeconsuming job, I do mine pixel per pixel, that why my work is so crisp and neat and polished.
Hope this helps? Thanx, M, (*_*)
there are those that feel because I do not allow WS on my images, I should not DO any... I state clearly in my intro why I closed that door, but if the door is open, that means I am invited in, no? |
