Excellent Portrait. I convert the image like a Great Pakistani Artist Aftab Ahmad Khan style.
1: Using the curve tool and applying like Posrerised effect.
2: Apply the frame.

the only thing I changed was to lighten the eyes slightly .
Used lighten tool - hardness 25, density 100, opacity 50

I cloned out the kid on the left. Then I used the dodge and burn tools to try to make the kid on the right stand out from the background a bit more. I hope you like it!
