| Intro: | Photography is my hobby since almost 50 years. I have used cameras like Rolleiflex twin lense, Asahi-Pentax 6x7; different Nikon bodies with many different lenses. Still keep my darkroom (!) ; but since almost four years I use a very simple Kodak digital camera (Z 650), fully satisfied ! I have many prizes in different competitions both in Turkey and outside. Opened sofar 5 exhibitions. My favorite theme is the antique city of Aphrodisias in Karya (western Anatoly)which I visit since almost 25 years now, and have an archive of approximately 25.000 dia's and prints from almost all phases of the excavations there. I am also the member of the board of the Geyre foundation, which supports the excavations in Aphrodisias. | |
