Hello Dianne,
I found the original was missing some contrast and played with it in PS. Also darkened the original and sharpened the edges. You can also achieve this by changing the in camera settings which I found very helpfull in my camera.

THe landscape version shows more of the building and window with reflections but my main object - the doggy looks a bit lost. Thats why I decided to post the portrait version as original.

This is for all of you who wonder where the customs house is situated and why I included the big dark rock on the right. It is part of many legendary rockformations of this special location and I took it from the top of the rockformation seen in the original post.

Hello Cezary,
another fantastic compo from you. Somehow I always noted a missing brilliance in your potst. Here, with the fresh yellow under a perfect sky I had to try a WS. I Adjusted levels and contrast in PS and sharpened the edges. It looks much fresher now. Hope you like it.
I am using the same camera - K10D and set the levels in the menue to more saturation, contrast and sharpness because the JPGs out of the camera looked exactly like yours.

added some blue in the sky and raised levels and contrast on the darker areas in order to give the horizon a different appeal. Doesn't this look much more relaxing?
