Hi Chris,
I took this one end of December 1999 from the boardwalk you mention. It was a cloudy day and I used a EOS 50 with a Tamron 28-300 zoom and a Fuji Velvia film, which is not made for red colours. Guess this explains the different tones. Cheers, Thomas
