Just made it a bit artistic.
I cropped on one side.
I played with the color adjustment to get this effect to bring out the father and son.

I duplicated image and adjusted color to make the sky darker. Erased the bottom part so the duplicated image merges with the background. Straightened the photo to a different angle and cloned the sky and everything where the lightpost was.
I'm not recommending to go that far as to erase something in the photo.. I did it for fun and experiment.
I hope you like it or at least get some tips if you need em.

Here is what I did using Photoshop CS:

Brightened -4
Contrast +31
Unsharpened mask at 100% with radius 3.1 pixels and threshold 5 levels.
I added a deep yellow photo filter at 30%

I hope you like what I did.
I first removed the wire by cloning the blue of the sky.
I added contrast and brightened the photo to bring out the vividness of the colors.
Added a border to the photo with bevel and shadow.
New layer with background desing and added a border to that one too.
Merged layers.
