| Intro: | JUNE 16th, 2009 Back From Philadelphia, Since our return on June 8th, I am working on my images to share them with my friends and business colleagues who visited the City with us. I will propose you some in the future. I did not post on TL before, since I did not have time to write to you. Cheers! Robert May 31st, 2008 It seems it was yesterday I joined the TL family. Thanks to your kind support. Your feedback is important to me, as it is my motivation to express my feelings , my view of our world. Not an ideal world certainly , with all the problems and injustice going on everywhere. But I do my best to show the beautiful side of it , and its people, instead of showing the negative side. It is more uplifting to me anyway. One of my most rewarding aspect , beside improving my Photography skills , is to have developped beautiful relationships and friendships with many of you guys. And this is priceless. About my pages, themes, favorites: I have now too many favorite photos so I created various themes to group them. May I invite you to visit them. Perhaps one of yours could be there (^_^)including two with your own favorites I and II among those I published. Being on the site for a while, I have like many members ups and downs. If I am still on TL today, it is primary because I still have more ups than downs (^_^). I am not a pro photographer. I am not either a good teacher or coach. But I like the exchange and tips we can get from each other. Hundreds of photos are proposed daily . I wish I could addressed a critique and comment to each one of them . Since I am still working full time, it is obviously impossible. Neither I can thank each and everyone writing to me. So over the years , I am trying to be as fair as possible. I am of course naturally attracted by beautiful photographs which I encourage, I have favorite members which I encourage too. After all the goal of this site is to allow people to show their best images. I still like not to restrict myself to my buddies, friends and people who are writing to me. Writing 20 critiques per day is already taking me a lot of time. If I have one advice, and only one to give. Be honest in your critiques, and in your own posts. Show images your are proud of. Credibility comes with honesty. Credibility is not earn by systematic flattery, back slapping. I am proposing these images, critiques, workshops and ideas by pleasure. When the pleasure is gone, or time is lacking, I just take a break. I have met members and past members over those years. I will hopefully met many more in the future.
