| Intro: | Hello to all TL, TE, and TN members everywhere... I can't say enough about the experience of being a member of the Trek conmmunity. I have been carrying cameras around for more than 35 years, but have never had more fun with photography than I have had since joining. I am a semi-professional, and have been privileged to shoot for the Edmonton Street Performers' Festival This is a link to Edmonton International Street Performers' Festival as their official photographer for the years 1985 - 1990, and during the period 1986 - 1990 I was part of the photography team for the Edmonton Folk Music Festival.This is a link to Folk Fest Needless to say, I have a particular interest in photographing performers, but I also have a passion for nature and wildlfe photography, street and architectural photography, and for portraiture. I am fairly new to digital photgraphy, having done most of my work in conventional 35mm and 120mm film. If I can ever get up the courage to sell my beloved Hasselblad, I will invest in a suite of Canon D bodies and lenses, and convert to shooting digital exclusively - but once having had a Hasselblad, it's hard to think about giving it up!! Having recently re-located from Alberta to BC, most of my images are in storage but I look forward to having access to them soon, and to having the opportunity to share them with you. Peter | |
