| Intro: | I really got into photography due to my love of railways, around 1978 using an old Box Brownie, which was rapidly replaced with a Kodak 126 Instamatic. Later, I went on to do Photography 'O' level, but that's as far as I took it. I'm far from professional, and I'm happy to keep it that way. I just like capturing instances of time! Along with my passion for railways, I have a love of transport, science fiction, gardening, airships, traction engines, toys, machinery and architecture, which I'm sure will show through in my pictures. I also have a wicked sense of humour, which I hope you will also pick up in my more 'staged' images. I'm very much a 'spare of the moment' person, and I don't usually spend hours setting up a shot. I see what I like and I photograph it. Simple as that! | |
