| Intro: | I'm spending a year in Vancouver, getting to know the city and developing my passion for photography before heading back to Edinburgh and continuting my studies in Energy Engineering. I got really interested in photography about one and a half years ago, and have jumped from an Olympus C-8080, which is a wonderful camera to seriously learn on, to a Canon 30D D-SLR, which now allows me to get those shots that were previously unattainable. I couldn't more highly praise a camera than the 30D - I'm blown away by its speed and versatility. I've been a member of Trek-Lens and Trek-Earth since I first got interested in photography, and have jumped back and forth between these sites and developing my own, (roBall.com), which is currently a daily PhotoBlog. I've yet to figure out how to add a comments feature to that, though, and it's the comments that keep me posting here. Please be brutally honest with your criticism!. It's the only way I can improve, and that's what this site is really all about. Almost every shot can be improved in some way, and I'd like to hear how! | |
