 Borders and layers | Royaldevon
(16422) [2009-11-27 06:47:01] [4] | Hello David,
Just an idea to keep the integrity of the shot but move the people more off-centre, and have a little over-border effect.
Using PSE6:
1. create layer.
2. use marque tool to make off-centre border.
3. select inverse.
4. paint border at 85% opacity.
5. stroke darker border 3 pixels wide.
6. use eraser to remove border covering fountain.
Hope you like the little experiment!
Kind regards,
Bev :-) |

(16422) [2009-11-26 15:07:14] | Hello John,
Using PSE6, I selected the sky and added a blue filter at 26% opacity, I selected various areas of the trees and added different strengths of green filter. I selected the centre of the bridge and altered the hue and saturation, then used the healing brush to remove a dust speck from the sky.
I hope you like the changes.
Kind regards,
Bev :-) |

(16422) [2009-11-19 01:41:51] [6] | Hello Alper,
Using PSE6, I rotated the frame to put the leaves on a diagonal. This meant there was a lot of blank space. I cloned the b/g into the new space.
I removed the b/g noise and then reapplied your red border.
I hope you approve of the changes.
Have a good day,
Bev :-) |

(16422) [2009-11-19 01:14:07] | Hello Ralph,
No big deal, just cropped a little from the left and the top. Now three of the spokes are appearing from corners and the slightly distracting wood, at the left, has been removed.
Hope you like it,
Bev :-) |

 PSE6 | Royaldevon
(16422) [2009-11-18 02:34:49] | Hello Erhan,
Using PSE6, I added a duplicate later, selected the 'image' command, then 'tranform' and used the perspective correction command. By manipulating this, I staightened the columns.
I used unsharp mask to sharpen the shot a little more.
Then I cloned your border back as some had been lost when correcting the perspective.
I hope you like the changes,
Bev :-) |

(16422) [2009-11-12 12:26:59] [1] | Hello Jolanta,
Using PSE6:
I rotated your shot 10 degrees to make the twig emerge from the t/l/h corner.
Then, I used the magnetic lasso to select the rose.
After that, I selected inverse and removed the b/g colour using the 'enhance' menu.
Last, I added drop shadow border.
I hope you enjoy the little changes, to make the colours of your fine rose photograph, really stand out.
Kind regards,
Bev :-) |

Just a simple crop, to place the duck in a strong position within the frame, gives it a better composition.
Hope you like it.
Kind regards,
Bev :-) |

(16422) [2009-11-06 05:39:09] [1] | Hello Cynthia,
Using PSE6, I first cropped the border.
Then I extended the canvas a little at the bottom.
I cloned a grassy field back into the space, removing the top of the post at the same time.
I then replaced the border.
I hope you like the changes.
Kind regards,
Bev :-) |
