 Dark and Blue | Guntram
(1638) [2005-10-15 13:59:47] [7] | Hi Sarju, please forgive me if you feel that I have messed up your photo ... just wanted to give you the idea how I would process it.
It appeared too bright to me, so i lowered the curves a bit (sorry, what's "Tonwertkorrektur" in english ...?), and desaturated yellow into a lot of blue (in depth), to get more contrast to the "stars".
A humble approach, my first workshop here (I usually don't ask for workshops myself, but I felt being invited by your note).
Well, I had some fun doing this because I like this picture.
Greetings
Guntram |

 Gamma+Crop+USM | GoogolGuy
(787) [2005-07-15 03:36:37] | Hi Sarju,
I took the liberty of doing a workshop on this. I hope you like the result :)
I decreased the gamma first, because there was a lot of white in the photo. Then I adjusted the contrast and brightness. Then I cropped the top shadow and a bit from the left. Then I did USM.
Cheers!

New crop - new photo | hojper
(4087) [2005-05-25 10:32:49] [2] | I tried a different crop and ended up with a different photo. This is no longer three people in a landscape. This is two people not talking to each other. Of course the story is not the true one, but photography is to a great extent the art of illusion and mindtricks. So what do you think?

 crop,clon,color balance,contrast,frame | ballyna
(1914) [2005-05-24 05:53:14] [1] | a good long exposure but I found it too complicated, the two houses at the left were not vertical because of the lens and I cropped them out since they were not adding the pic.And the partially lighted big building behind was not useful for the mood of the pic in my opinion,so I clonned dark parts to get rid of it.I eradicated some hightlighted points and made some balances for color and contrast then framed.Hope u like it ,

 cropped&converted to B&W,framed | ballyna
(1914) [2005-05-07 08:47:43] [1] | | at first I cropped it in my way, just the parts which make the pic stayed, the rest cropped out.So I have two(actually I must say one and a half)girls, one big beer glass, spot lights and some shelves. Then I used the sephia tones, turned negative ,changed some color tunes, made some color adjustments, gave some contrast, changed the color depth and again turned negative, so I framed again; and here it is,hope u like it. |

(3985) [2005-04-20 13:19:24] [5] | | I tried to crop it to show which part I would make verticle. Of course if this were a full verticle shot you woudl be able to see the woman's face too. I also added a frame for fun. JP |

(6) [2005-04-14 10:06:42] [4] | | I adjusted the red and yellow channel hues, and added a little bit of yellow (-4%), and on red channel (+4%). Burned the bottom of the flower, and give it a tint of dark blue. |
