I love the cactus you have captured here and the colours are grand. But it seemed to me that some of the beauty was lost because the image was a bit dark.
So, in Photoshop CS, I changed the levels to make it brighter overall. With the magnetic lasso I selected the leaves and used the brightness/contrast tool to increase the brightness on the leaves alone. After I flattened the image, I increased the size slightly and then sharpened the whole before reposting to your workshop
I hope you like the result
