I used curves in Photoshop to make the photo lighten, used Neat Image to reduce grain.

first I added some black background, then I added little saturation and used photo filter: stylize: diffuse: anisotropic. In the end I added glass frame.

the technique is very simple, just add some textures, and stars with some hard light merge properties, and over the whole picture I added a 2 color rectangle (from blue to magenta) and merge it with some "soft light" lighting property and 35% of transparency too.

(0) [2005-02-23 03:42:31] [4] | Since the photo had a little grain I just used a program to reduce it, in this case the photo was passed through neat image to get rid of the noise. All the rest was left untouched.
