| Intro: | ***Training started for MS150, the 200 mile bicycle ride from Houston to Austin. At 48 I did a 5K, at 49 I ran a half marathon...I decided the full marathon was for the birds! HAHA! So I'm training for the MS 150 by 50...which will be October 9. Life is good! ***Trip planned for September 5-12 to Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio and Niagara Falls in New York. I would LOVE to meet some of you there, keep eyes peeled here in the coming months and we will set a date and hopefully I will finally get to meet some of you in person. All are invited, of course! "Mom, you do the craziest things and always come out smelling like a Rose" ***5-09-09 State Art Show, I received second place for Digital Photography ~ Semi Professional. There were 641 pieces of art and 250 artists featured. I am honored! *** 3-21-09 2nd Art Show, 6 ribbons. Now I can choose from those and enter the state competition in May! *** 3-14-09 Art Show! There were 71 artist, over 200 pieces displayed. I posted in the Semi-Professional catagory, digital photography. I entered 6 photos and won 4 ribbons! 1st, 2nd, 3rd and honorable mention! I've just been asked to the the official photographer for Texas Equu-Search and I'm quite honored. The Armor of God 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. | |
