using the same seed head but in another context and complimentary setting. looks about to be planted so i used the other shot. comments welcome and should i post this one to TN?
this is the original shot which lacks lustre as it was taken in shade . with a few tweaks in levels gives it a boost and adds colour and depth. you can do the same with curves and the histogram and sometimes worth playing with.
hot wax effect brings out the textures on this leaf, though the pp work and resizing has degraded the image believe me the original looks so sharp and graphic.
another shot of this flower but using the whole pov against the sky. i used this backdrop instead of where is was growing it would have died in the frost anyway.
Sometimes there just isn’t any suitable background and so you might want to consider making your own. This could range from buying a purpose built studio background or simply buying some cloth to do the job for you.
