| Intro: | I have been posting photos on Trek Earth for about a year now and I greatly enjoy the photographers and the photographs. I have been an amateur and a semi-professional for twenty years now and I have tried almost every type of photography available. I started out with nature photography, which I still enjoy but have limited time for these days and have shot assignments for local magazines, mostly local travel and for the past five years have taken a keen interest in dance photography. I have photographed Folklorico, Flamenco, Ballet and modern dance. I find this type of photography very challenging and exciting and I believe that I provide a valuable service for the struggling dance companies who do fantastic performances on very tight budgets. It is a labor of love for sure. Trek Earth is a great forum for travel images but I would like to try Trek Lens for this specialty of mine. Dance is a difficult type of photography to categorize and it is difficult sometimes to place my dance images into the travel theme. |
