(4640) [2008-11-08 14:25:50] [1] | Cropped from the sides, copied the image onto a newly created background, using the sky colour from the original one. Used some stamp clone tool to make a gentle transition (just some quick work really).
Sharpened up, increased canvas of black colour.
And now I would title it "The Tower of Strength"

Just thought of a small experiment here.
Your original photo brings too much brightness to the eye.
Thought how to make it look better or different if that's what you rather call it ;-)
Added quite a lot of shadows and highlights.
Shadows to make the bright sky/view darker, and highlights to enhance the bottom part, and make all the other details more visible and recognizable.
Although the sky now looks very odd for a natural photograph, you could now call it a "gentle" painting.
Let me know what you think.
