hello Zahoor

I like this bird in flight capture with good sharpness and well composed, and I hope you wont mind if I post a workshop to brighten up, adjust contrast and saturation just a tad and add border, using irfanview free software. I hope you will like it.

hello Kona

Just for fun, I crop a little off the bottom, add a bit of saturation, contrast and border.

I still like the softness in your original photo. All files deleted from my computer after this upload. Thank you. Regards, bill

bonjour Christophe

The thing which shows up on my monitor is the saturation on the face - if the girl is not in the photo, the saturation will be acceptable for landscape, but here the face becomes overly done in tone.

I am desaturating the photo as if it may appear on the camera sensor at the time of shooting, a bit of contrast added, crop the left and bottom slightly just to get the girl off center, add border.

I hope the girl's appearance now is more natural as seen by the naked eye. I hope you wont mind this workshop and I have deleted all files from my computer after this upload.

Cheers, bill

hello Sabash

I try to imagine what mood and thought on your mind when you shoot this scene. A lone figure facing the sea. Your title reflection, so I try to capitalise on that theme.

Another WS to create the light+shadow mood for this B&W beach scene. I try to place the man and his shadow off center and use his shadow as foreground subject to draw the eye's attention to the man himself, so the crop up to the edge of the inverted head blur.

Adding a white border just to compliment his white surf board. What do you think? I hope I did not mess up your original photo. All jpg files deleted from my computer after this upload. Cheers, bill

Hello Sabesh

I find your shot to have good graphic impression with its yellow backdrop of wall and the word of metro station in upper case, so I cropped the darker wall at upper right as tight as possible to throw the full attention to the boys while keep to the rule of 3rd as best possible, crop the bottom as close to the shoes to force the viewers also to look at what they are wearing on the feet.

The border frame is puerly my taste, to add some bold pattern to the wall's brick and that white solid strip across/over their heads, just to create a little illusion of graphic trickery.

I hope you like it. I have deleted all jpg files used from my computer after this upload. Cheers, bill

hello Farah, I hope you will not mind if I post a workshop just for the fun of it.

As I can only re-use this posted photo, this is just an example. Use of original file to retain more pixels and to give better clarity will be suggested.

Crop out the decayed leave at middle of the frame, some minor adjustment to curve/contrast, add border (please dont mind if it is largest border I ever do) border and upload.

The files have been deleted from my computer after this upload. Cheers, bill

I made some changes to the foreground to bring out some brightness level and details. Although I think the sky hue tone is a little off, but it gives some idea of how a sunrise can be shot by ways of camera settings and focus point to make it more interesting, if you know what I mean.

Mt K is a good choice for background but it can become more interesting by choosing a selective foreground to mix with its view.

Please note that this workshop is by no means a better photo than your original, it is done purely to see how to present different style of sunrise view. Hope this gives you some idea for your next shooting.

I have deleted your original and this WS version from my computer after this post. Cheers, bill

I just crop out the sky to give the composition more to 3rd Rule in this WS, add a border (can be white) to personal preference. This will draw less attention to the space of sky to more of the landscape and bridge.

I hope you will not mind this WS; I have deleted the original from my computer after this WS post. Regards, bill

Hello Joni

Very well composed shot. I find this landscape view very attractive with its layers of terrain and color tone and I hope you wont mind if just for the fun of it, I try this WS to add curves, levels, saturation, contrast and sharpen. What do you think?

Cheers, bill
