I thought I'd give this photo a new perspective by flipping it, and make it look a little more drastic by changing the levels and saturation a bit.
In Photoshop:
- Flip horizontal
- Increase black threshold (using Levels)
- Increase saturation +8 (to bring out the red a little)

Hope you like it.

I think the photo takes on a different personality when inversed like this. I also cropped at the bottom to try to give more attention to the water above it. It is looking up, so it seems more natural this way.
In photoshop,
- crop
- Flip Horizontally

What do you think?

I thought this shot would look better with the trees standing straight up, instead of upside-down. Also, as I mentioned, I didn't like the pale blue on the bottom left side of the photo, so I did three things:

- Fliped the entire photo horizonally
- Rotated 3 degrees right
- Cropped the photo slightly tighter to eliminate the pale blue section.

I think this renders the photo a little more abstract. Hope you like it!

It looks like your camera, like mine, over compensates for really sunny weather a little bit, resulting in somewhat dark photos.

All I did here was a simple increase in saturation and brightness to bring out those independence day colours.
Hope you like it.
