| Intro: | Hi. I'm still learning and most of my learning comes from sites such as these. I belong to treknature as well and these are my two favortite sites. I love taking photos of nature, but always want to expand and learn new things and find new subjects. I love to experiment although many of the things I try often are terrible. As much as I hate some of them I may do some posting just to get better ideas - and also to see if somebody else can figure out where I went wrong. I suppose I'm more of a loner than I'd like, but I'm happiest with a camera in my hand tramping around with my dog. I do enjoy people, but most want to chat when I want to focus on taking pictures. Idle chatter scares away subjects. I did purchase a listening device which I've been trying out and I love it. It amplifies sounds and allows me to hear animals that normally I'd just walk by. I'll talk more about that later. For now, I'm thrilled to be here. During rough patches, this helps keep my sanity. |
