Hello Dawn,
Thank you so much for your note. I have been a member here for a while, but do not visit very often...I spend most of my time on TE and TN. Unfortunately, therefore, I didn't get a chance to "cross paths" with Kathleen, but felt compelled to know her posthumously purely because of the depth of feeling for her that I picked up on one of my fairly rare visits here.
I could sense the strong emotion that she generates in everyone on this site and I wanted to find out why they all feel like they do about her. I didn't have to look for very long before I found it and I immediately felt it too. Her gallery and her words of love are an inspiration to anyone who cares to look and, before long, I was swept up in all the emotion her huge loss has had on this community. I have cried real, heartfelt tears for the passing of a wonderful soul I didn't know and have never even met. She has surely left to all of us a legacy of love and understanding and I sicerely hope Adam sees fit to keep her picture as a permanent logo for this site (her family permitting, of course) that she loved so much and was loved and admired by so many in return. She was an Angel on loan. She absolutely is, and always will be, TrekLens and our SandPiper.
