Wife and I went to North Queensland in August. Carefully packed my camera gear in a rucksack and tried to walk to the plane without falling over backwards :)
This was taken just after dawn from the balcony of the hotel 8 floors up. Not a view the locals would see and I guess most of the patrons of the hotel were still asleep.
The next morning I rushed out and went up Castle Hill to get a few pictures of the sun coming up over the horizon.
I don't think any were as good as this one, but I will have a look-see.
Felicity finishes her exams sometime in November and will probably be back in Coffs Harbour from then until February (years are back to front down here :)
You and I will have to talk her into taking more photographs :)
