| It's a macro-view of a Poinsettia, the ubiquitous Christmas flower in the US. There are everywhere, and being tropical flowers, typically don't last in our humidity-free winter house conditions. The black and gold circles on the left are the florets and the red are the bracts. Most people think they are petals, but they are leaves. The original photo wasn't very exciting. I may post it as a workshop, but it's really dull. |
