Not wallpaper but that's what my family said it should be used as. It's not, at least not yet. I messed around with a lot of effects and combinations, and this one was the most accurate and mysterious at the same time. The original photo was an accurate but deadly dull macro of a poinsettia, a very American part of the Christmas celebration, seen everywhere, banks, churches, parties. Given the dry conditions in our winter-heated houses, they don't last very long, falling apart, shedding everything. The florets are those little circles on the left, the white petals radiate out and the red is the bracts. I may post the original after a couple more guesses. I'm beginning think this is a really American thing.
Not g'night not yet, two more hours, I'm back on East Coast time, the airport was open today, and I got here about noon. |
