| Most of the Tall Ships in existence today are replicas built in recent times. Tall Ships travel all over the world, putting on festivals and races and mock sea battles. Because Port Alberni lies at the end of a long, narrow, very deep inlet, it provides a perfect setting to photograph the ships coming in. The lack of color is because it was a very misty day. :o) |
