I received a comment about the identity of this beautiful girl by one of my kind viewers (thanks for the info), and I followed the link to find out more about her. The viewer is right. She is, or was an Indian actress and I was very sorry to realize that she died in 1993 falling from the sixth floor of a buiding (accident / murder). I had a look at some of her photos and biography on the net. She had played in several Indian movies and left a few unfinished because of her sudden death. Anyway, I am now the proud owner of that carpet (I bought one! very expensive too because its got silk in it and I didnt know that).
