These are attacking the redwood fence in the backyard!!! At first we didn't know what was causing the sawdust, during the spring when they are active we have to keep the screen door on the patio closed at all time to keep them from trying to work their way through the wood there!!! I loved the pose of the bee, reminded me of motorcycle racers, lol, leaning into a curve!
A bit of information from the site about the bees...used WD 40 to get them out of your table. Spray it into the bore holes and it will prevent further damage. Just make sure they are not yellow jackets or other bees. They are to fast for the WD 40 to work. These are slow and truly bumbling bees, lol!
