Adam, as far as I can remember processing consisted of:
Image size
NewLayerViaCopy
Convert to LABcolor
USM on Brightness (5%, 20px, 0. 20%, 1.2px, 0. 10%, 0.8px, 0)
Wide soft edged eraser (50%) to roughly knock out areas I didn't want sharpened
Flatten image
Convert back to RGB
Select/ColourRange on the petals, and touch up with Lasso to get the centre
Invert selection
Contrast +5
Not too dissimilar to what I do with most shots... |
