I also felt the focus came out a little soft. I tried to play with sharpening but couldn't get it real sharp without going to far and ruining the photo.
I was having a hard time trying to get his face. He couldn't touch... really swimming and moving faster than me in the lake. So I realize now that my shutter speed should have been set faster.
