| Hi Claudine, thanks for your note. From a news story on Fox23.com: "A preliminary necropsy, or animal autopsy, indicates she may have died from chronic heart disease. The zoo says on average polar bears in captivity can live to be anywhere from their mid-20s to early 30s." So, she was actually fairly long-lived. I know they don't live this long in the wild. |
