| Hi Diane, thanks for the critique! I have a few other pictures on here of his tank mates, the Venustus (marked like giraffes) and the Acei (blue with yellow fins). Spike is actually smaller than they are, being all of 5.5 inches. ;-) But he is the biggest of his species in there, and has all the attitude of an African cichlid. And yes, I clean the tank...the blue ones bite worst, but when I bring the gravel washer after them, they usually hide long enough for me to finish! |
