yes calvi was relaxing but i was there to wear out my boots and get some real exercise which we did at corte
given the chance again to visit corse i would hire a car so i could reach all the places..bonifacio especially...
we only had limited transport and were there to hike and climb..
i loved the whole atmosphere of the place..very calm and well ordered..a pleasure to eat wild boar, chestnut cake, and drink some corse beer.
altogether a memorable and unforgettable two weeks on the island.
great history and archaeology as well
