Hey, thanks for that Claude. The notes in my book said why the succulents were called "Houseleeks"- they were planted on the roof tops to hold slates in place, and also, it was believed, to provide protection against lightning! Now you've shown me it in action. I hope you've been protected from lightning???? I have copied a photo of your plants - that is so interesting. Did you plant them there yourself?
I have mine inside (not these photo - I bought mine after seeing these growing while on holiday as I liked them) and I will plant them outside one day. But they look good on a table now.
