Hello! Thank you for the critique and the workshop. I do agree with you that the trees on the left are a distraction, and I knew it would come up, but there's something about them being there which I like. I did crop them at first but in the end I put them back in! I also like the pile of rubble directly below the trees. Looking back I think I would have tried to get more of the tree into frame, so it looked slightly less random. However, I somehow find that losing the trees loses something from the picture, but I can't quite put my finger on what!
I agree with you on the rock, it is nicer in the workshop with a bit more colour to it. Thanks again for taking an interest in my photos :) |
