I was happy with the composition so I didn't mind the comments. I wanted a long lead in line with the coast. I realise now that the horizon is wonky, I am so bad at seeing things like that. I have corrected this on the large resolution version of this picture now. I actually used two ND Grad filters as the sky was so bright compared to the FG. I can't remember which ones I used. I have a set of 3 cokin ND grads (P Series). Horia recommended I get them after my fog pictures. This was the first time I used them. I tried one and took a test shot and decided to add another. So really it was just trial and error.
The wonky horizon is partly down to my cheap naff tripod that keeps falling apart. I can't wait to get a new one
