I'm so glad you had trouble thinking of anything negative:) Your wondering was right on target. There was not much space in the small courtyard of this inn so I wasn't able to stand any further away from the stairway. Plus, there were other less attractive features that would have shown if I stood elsewhere to take the shot. So, I made my choice accordingly:)
