I'm only going to bother you once today...so I'll thank you for both of the visits and comments on the two swans...Dad and the baby! I really did a lot of hiking to find them, they were not on the main part of the lake but in one of the little side 'rivers' I found the whole family there!
Have you decided to visit here yet? I have thought about it and coming after Mardi Gras the downtown hotels should be more reasonable than they are right now. I'll have a gander at some of the sites and see what the price ranges are for them. The best but more expensive ones are in the French Quarter. There is one on St Charles Avenue, that I used to deal with when I was working at the Mansion, but the people I worked with arent' there anymore. But it's a very good hotel and has easy access to the quarter and uptown.
