Thank you for the visit and the comments. The costumes worn in all the parades are works of art, very colorful and really make for great photos! The kings and queens of course are all very ornate and different. It's a shame I couldn't capture them on the floats with the mantles and feathers...but I was in the staging area and couldn't get close enough once they were ready to roll.
Mardi Gras is a must visit for anyone interested in photography...so much to capture, not only in the parades but in the crowds!
