Yes, you are right. It is a lens flare that created that circular rainbow. I think the direction of the rays of the sun was just straight to the lens that is why. That is just a guess though. At the time of the taking of the photo, I did not look at the viewfinder. Before that, I did several shots and the sun seems to be blinding me. So, I just aimed the camera straight to the rising sun and pressed the shutter. I was lucky to get the photo.
I intentionally did not put a note to keep the viewers guessing how it was done. Maybe some will think that it was through pp. I like to tickle sometimes the viewers' imagination. But you are so good that you knew what happened. Thanks a lot for the visit and have a nice weekend.
